Hi to all my fellow Tenant Involvement Ambassadors, I hope you are all well and coping in these difficult times, glad to see that today the PM has eased more of the lockdown measures, let's hope we can soon enjoy each others company soon, if anyone is feeling down and wants to chat please do not hesitate to contact me, I can't promise to solve your problem but willing to offer support.

This my Siberian Husky EVA who I enjoy long daily walks with.
Good Morning All
I trust you are all well and looking forward to the forthcoming heatwave (if you believe the weather forecasts) the last couple of days has seen copious amounts of liquid sunshine.
I have been somewhat concerned by the recent attacks on our history and national statues and monuments and it bought to mind a quote from George Orwells Book "1984".
" Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right"
Whatever the rights and wrongs done by our predecessors we cannot allow our history and heritage to be erased.
I wish to make it clear that these are my thoughts and mine alone and not meant to cause offence to anyone irrespective of their race, gender etc.
Good Morning All,
I too met with Wendy on Monday where she explained the way Tenant Involvement is changing and how we as Ambassadors need to embrace those changes, these are/have been unprecedented times and at the moment we cannot operate the way we did, for example in group meetings etc. I know some of you maybe put off or not comfortable having to use technology but please give it a go, there is help out there for you, some of your fellow Ambassadors who are confident with technology I am sure would be willing to help you as would the TI Team get started or advise on the best way of doing things. As we know Oxford leads the way in Tenant Involvement so let's prove it and support the TI team in their endeavours to maintain the standards, and remember we are all valued whatever our skills level of Involvement or views.
There are some interesting projects coming up for us to get involved in and I for one am looking forward to getting started using whatever platforms of communication we have to use.
Stay Safe, protect yourselves, your family and let's defeat this virus
They all have their own cages but do interact with each other though different sorts. Have the grey, Dolly, Pickles a Galah Cockatoo and Charlie a Quaker aka Monks Parakeet. I have the grey and Galah out at same time though do prefer their own out time just with me, especially Dolly. The Quaker is smallest but can be most feisty. I have birds and dogs in same room out under supervision the chihuahua is the 1 I trust least. I think pending on how dog is and you know your dog better to others they can get along if introduction is done slowly and right. Our late lurcher would let the birds jump all over him and just seemed to enjoy it!
So far not seen any disposed of masks round here thankfully. In St Clements and so far nothing. But yes proper disposal all helps contain the risks and just bit of thought can go a long way in the world today.
Hi Dave,
Good to here from you, excuse my ignorance but do all your parrots get on together? A parrot was something I have always wanted to own but not sure if it would get on with the husky!!
I went out for a walk with the dog at 6-30am this morning as it is cooler then, we walked from Barns Road Cowley to Horspath Driftway and I counted nigh on 700 discarded used face masks so the irresponsible people who dump them on the paths etc could potentially have released Covid 19 into the atmosphere. Have you noticed many discarded masks in your area(s)?
Hi! Nice to meet you and have to say what a beautiful dog you have! Fellow dog owner here of an adorable Shih Tzu and loving little chihuahua. Also a bird owner here of 3 parrots so hoping may be another around here too perhaps.
During the last few months I know I have found the pets which all part of our family have played their part in helping in the more difficult moments as well as the higher happier moments. Buster I call my best Buddy as been there through it all and just the look from him can say so much. Even the birds know! Certainly Dolly the African Grey has been known to say something at maybe a tense time and her words change a situation. Usually as she said something like rock around the Christmas tree and is June is just 1 of her many sayings that come out!
Let's hope the easing of things help all and we all slowly can resume some normality of life again, though may take some time.
What a lovely photo a lovely sentiment and what a fantastic start to a conversation! Thank you
