Nick was a passionate believer in the work carried out by Cancer Research UK. In his memory a memory/donation page has been set up for him at https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/nick-bullen-bully-boy
Nick was a real gentleman. He was also one of the best artists I have ever known and we shared a love of art. He would send me his pictures which I have displayed below and often talk about our shared common interest. He will be missed.

My memories of Nick are that he was a very quiet reserved person with a dry sense of humour, I worked with Nick not only as part of the Tenant Ambassador Family but also at Blitz the computer hub at Blackbird Leys Community Centre where we shared many hours on various courses, putting the world to rights over coffee in the break.
Nick was always ready to help any of the course participants who were struggling with the coursework, I never heard him complain about doing this it was just his nature to help those who didn't have the skills and knowledge that he possessed to be more competent.
I knew he was ill but in his own imitatable way if I asked him how he was he would reply don't worry about me there are people far worse off than me and I am playing the hand God has dealt me.
He just loved painting and his portfolio shows that passion and his association with Oxford City Councils Tenant Involvement Team will live on through the artwork at Riverside Court.
I won't be able to join in the funeral on the 17th March as I have another commitment but rest assured I will be raising my coffee mug to him sometime during the day.
My thoughts are with his family and may they be comforted by the fact that Nick is no longer suffering and is at peace.
It was a privilege to know Nick and I will never forget him.
