What ride or sideshow is your favourite at St. Giles' Fair? Do tell!!
For me it had to be the Waltzer in the Sixties with all the great rock 'n' roll tunes blaring out!!

Has anyone ventured to the fair this year? My son went on Monday with his day centre and said it was good. Asking bit further he said pretty much the same stuff as usual but then a couple of new bits too.
At least some great weather for the fair as often can be a wet couple of days 🙂
OK living in the sticks means I cant join in - so not fair LOL
We would stop and have a go on some of the arcades and stalls always coming home with something sweet to eat later. Many years back had my fortune told by Gypsy rose Lee which was kinda interesting!
Now my son grown up he goes with day centre during the day and doubt my legs carry me all the way round these days without me plonking on the pavement! Some of the music is great but admit some of the modern stuff not for me and they all competing for most volume!
Used to see the fair as sign of Christmas coming and son's birthday later in September. Have some great memories of visiting the fair in years gone by and just soaking up the atmosphere 🙂
