Housing & Homeless Panel​ Updates

My name is Tony Buchanan and I am one of the Tenant Ambassadors. 

​

I was coopted onto the Housing and Homelessness Panel back in 2019. This is one of the Councillor led Scrutiny Panels.

 

The Panel focus on varied topics that relate to the general housing sector.
This includes: Homelessness, the Private Rented Sector, HMO’s (Housing of Multiple Occupancy) and Social Housing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the panel and I have learnt a great deal.
It’s very rewarding being able to share my experiences, express my opinions
and make challenges where I feel it is appropriate.

Being that I am learning so much, I wanted to start sharing this with you and provide you with updates after each meeting.
